Holy cow! So many things are happening at the moment! Not only is summer school getting exhausting (nah I didn’t fail anything), but the commitment of the blog and a few other projects (which I listed below) are taking up so much of my time!

“What other projects?”, you ask? Well here are a few things I’m currently working on.

1. Writing a Musical

Yeah, you read that right. A friend and I have decided to write a musical about our friendship and some drama. So this show is pretty much going to expose us, but it’ll be fun. I can’t disclose the name of the musical, but we’re already almost done our second song 😉

2. Creating Art with Lyrics

Since I’m not artistically gifted, but still want to draw, I’ve decided to do this thing where I draw the logo or symbol of a musical/band and write out the lyrics to my favourite song from their album. Simple concept, but super entertaining to do (also a great way to procrastinate doing homework).

3. Writing a Comic Series

This comic idea is something my artsy friend and I came up with. The series is basically us drawing out our ideal lives; where we’re teens living in Berkeley, California in a small apartment, and working at fancy coffee shops and retro diners by the shore. Taking trips to San Francisco during long weekends, painting some flowers, and reading on the beach. But of course, we’re adding humour; with a rich mean girl, a memorable volleyball game, and hiding in bushes.
